Community of Christ is an international Christian church with 250,000 members in more than 50 nations worldwide. We are a faith community dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus Christ and pursuing peace, reconciliation, and compassionate ministry.

Our World Headquarters, located in Independence, MO, serves as a central hub for our global mission. This sacred space is home to a Temple dedicated to peace, where individuals and groups gather for worship, reflection, and community-building. Our church’s journey began in 1830 in New York State, with a mission to proclaim Christ’s love and peace throughout the world.
